Matthew & Cindy Wright

Albanian Encouragment Project:

The Wright family has been serving in Albania since 2005 in many different ways: Matthew serves as the Administrator for the Albanian Encouragement Project ( – an umbrella organization that serves the needs of the Evangelical missionary community in Albania. He also works with the Eagle’s Wings Transitional Home, seeking to help girls who have been in the state-run orphanages and are at high risk for human trafficking.

Cindy is still busy homeschooling Caleb and Emily, teaching piano to about 20 students and leading a Bible study and mentoring a couple of the young ladies in the church. Her gift of hospitality also ministers to all who visit in the Wright home.

Caleb and Emily are serving in the Worship ministry of their church in Tirana and are working towards graduation. Caleb uses his abilities on guitar, piano and djembe while Emily is singing and developing her skills on piano and cello. They both enjoy their involvement in the youth ministry and Caleb is also helping with a new church plant in another part of town.

Erin is now a student at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. She has a heart for missions, and is part of SSTOP, an on campus group seeking to fight human trafficking.

Please keep the Wrights in your prayers. Albania is the only officially Muslim country in Europe, yet it remains open to the gospel. Their hope is that they will continue to see Albania change through the impact of the Gospel. By faith, they believe that one day Albania will be a Christian nation.
